Description:Looking south along Church Lane from Bagot Street towards St. Nicholas' Church. St. Nicolas' Church has a late 17th century west tower. The rest of the church is of about 1300 but was extensively rebuilt by G.E. Street in 1852-55.

On the immediate right hand side is Church House, a timber-framed building on a brick plinth, built in 1619 as a residence. It was restored in the mid 20th century by F.W.B. Charles and is now used by the church and other community groups.
