Description:The Gamekeeper's Cottage, half-way along Old Acre Lane. In 1911 Tom Lockett was Gamekeeper living with his wife Annie (nee Fleet) and Annie's daughter. In the adjoining cottage lived widow Mary Nunn aged 74 and her daughter Sarah Jane. Tom joined up in 1915 and survived the war. Information from 1911 Census.
