Description:This photograph was probably taken close to the head of Sherbrook Valley, before Gospel Place. There is a healthy
flow in the Sherbrook. No huts appear on the skyline but just around the corner to the left would be the back of Numbers 12 and 16 Battalion Lines. At the head of the valley would eventually be a parcel of land granted by Lord Lichfield to provide a burial ground to cater for the growing number of soldiers dying at the Camp, mostly from the deadly outbreak of Spanish Flu that swept around the world towards the end of the war.
