Description:Judging by the assembly of some of the huts going on in this image it was taken early on in the development of the Camp. The military railway can be seen crossing the road, left to right going down Brindley Valley and also carrying on up Penkridge Bank Road toward the White House which is partially obscured by the trees. There is a sidings adjacent to this line whilst the main line forks in front of the White House to go alongside present day Marquis Drive towards Flint's Corner where it arcs towards the Ordnance Depot. The main line continues up Penkridge Bank Road where it splits again to virtually surround the Camp to unload supplies and give options for the train drivers to return via different routes if necessary.
