Description:Penkridge Bank Camp is generally known as Rugeley Camp. The Camps were given different names over the period of the War, often depending on which town or village they were associated with. Possibly whichever edge of the Camp was closest where the photograph was taken could have had some influence. It is interesting to see the tracks and gate no doubt denoting a boundary. Smoke could be billowing from one the "Destructors" burning off rubbish at the rear could be a clue to its location. The "Destructors" tended to be placed on the periphery of the Camp as they would have been creating a bit of smoke and judging by the valley rising up to the Camp it could be Pepper Slade and No. 3 "Destructor" behind No. 5 Battalion Lines.
