Description:This horseman heading along Penkridge Bank Road towards the White House cuts a lonely figure. The military railway crosses the road from left to right down Brindley Valley before the huts. To his left is Battalion Line No. 16 with 17 on the other side of the road. The small shack to his left appears to be a shelter for the unfortunate individual that had to change the points on the railway to send the train either down the valley or up the road to Rifle Range corner and beyond.
