Description:The North Western Hotel, later the Station Hotel, Stafford. This appears to be a promotional post card produced by the Hotel Manager, Septimus Carolus Howard. He was manager of the hotel from 1907 until the outbreak of World War 1. He served in the Royal Engineers as a Lieutenant. The message on the reverse is from Septimus's wife Edith to another member of the Howard family sent on 31 December 1907.
