Description:This entrance to the tunnel can be seen on the left hand side as you go along the drive to Shugborough from Milford Common. The tunnel is 777 yards long and it was agreed with the Earl of Lichfield that this entrace should be "mock Norman". The railway line opened on 25th June 1847.
