Description:Episode VI of the Millenary Pageant tells of the day after the Battle of Hopton Heath. In the year 1643, when a crowd is gathered in the Market Place of Stafford, pretty Priscilla enters winning the smiles of Will Lovelace, a soldier. With the gallantry of the Cavaliers he declares his admiration, but his flirtation is speedily brought to an end by Priscilla’s father, a rigid Puritan and hater of the followers of King Charles.
