Description:Three Cottages overlooking Brocton Green. The cottage furthest away from the camera in the row was also a shop run by widow Mrs Prudence Hocknell, born 1873. Apparently she sold most things but was not the most polite of shopkeepers according to Marjory Jeavons in her book, "Letters to Audrey."

Postcard published by Dickens.
