Description:Five young women representing Fact, Riverside, Stafford, Countryside and Fancy.

'Fact' was Violet Marjory Alsop, youngest daughter of the Vicar of Bednal and Acton Trussell born 1889. She would go on to marry in 1928 Rev Richard de Baillaul Coussmaker who had been Curate at Madeley before serving as a Royal Army Chaplain. He became Vicar of St Chads, Lichfield.

'Stafford' was Violet Edith Bostock She read French at Somerville College, Oxford, 1911 - 1913 and wasHonorary Secretary Belgian Refugees Committee, Stafford in 1916. She is thought to have driven an ambulance in Belgium during World War I. On 1 May 1918 she was awarded the Queen Elisabeth of the Belgians Medal. She also taught French at Oundle School, Northants during World War I. Died unmarried, in 1961.

'Countryside' was Jeanie Moncur. Born in Scotland in 1890 she was the daughter of the County Surveyor. In 1911 she was an Art Student.

'Riverside' was Mary Charlotte Ridge, born 1892 and daughter of Stafford dentist Walter Henry Ridge.

'Fancy' was Miss Mull Ridge according to the local press, we can find no-one of this name or other variations.
