Description:All Saints Church, Bednall. Built on the site of an earlier church, All Saints was built by local Architect Henry Ward in 1846 at a cost of £1100. It was dedicated on 10th August 1846 by the Bishop of Lichfield. The bell tower and spire were not added until 1873, built at the expense of Mrs Mary Heath of Bednall Hall widow of James Glover Heath.

The message on the reverse is from Arthur Richard Alsop, Vicar of Acton Trussell & Bednall sending Christmas wishes to a fellow clergyman. Arthur Alsop was Vicar from 1880 until 1928. His father James Richard Alsop had held the living from 1867 until his death in 1880.
