Description:This photograph shows a workforce of an unidentified Rugeley factory during World War I.

Postcard photographed by Bates, South Staffordshire Water works, Moors Gorse, Rugeley. Alfred Bates was a well known photographer in Rugeley, particularly during World War I when he set up a studio at Moors Gorse and many of the men from the Army Camps on Cannock Chase would had their photographs taken there.
